Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram is one of the most prominent ashrams in Rishikesh, India, on the bank of the Ganges river, at the foot of the Himalayan Mountains. Yogirishi Vishvketu ji and Chetana Panwar, the founders of the ashram, invited Radhanath Swami for a satsang program on the evening of 5th March, 2014. More than two hundred spiritual seekers and yogis who had been visiting Rishikesh converged at the ashram to attend Radhanath Swami’s discourse and kirtans.
Radhanath Swami spoke about the historical conversation between Vidura and Maitreya that took place on the banks of the Ganges, near Rishikesh over five thousand years ago. Speaking from the Indian epic Mahabharatha, as well as from the life of St Francis, he enlivened the audience, interspersing the talk with humorous incidents from his own life. The program concluded with Radhanath Swami leading a rousing kirtan where everyone danced in great happiness.
