On 15th January, in Aurangabad, India Jaico Publishing House, India’s first publisher of hard bound English Books, held a launch of the new print of the book The Journey Home. Aurangabad is one of the fastest growing cities in the world. It is famous for its historical monuments – Ajanta and Ellora Caves.

The book launch was a preceded by a press meet on the subject of the book as well about the opening of new ISKCON temple in Aurangabad. Fourteen local newspapers covered the event. Radhanath Swami shared that his Guru A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada desired temples to be centers for disseminating education and expressed his hope that the new temple could serve as such.

The book was unveiled by Chief Guest, Honorable Justice Shri Narendra Chapalgaonkar, Mr. Pravin Agarwal, MD, Sterlite Industries and Mr. Rishi Bagla, Chairman & M D Bagla group.

After the unveiling ceremony, Mr. Rishi Bagla shared his appreciation for the book and the Swami. “In last 15 years this is the only book which I have read cover to cover. Four important lessons I learnt from the book are: – One should have a purpose in life, we have to face challenges in life, we should distinguish between teachers and Guru, and closeness to Supreme Lord can be achieved only by chanting of the Holy Name.”

Other dignitaries who attended the book release function were Shri Chandrakant Khaire, M P Aurangabad, Shri Satish Kagliwal, MD Nath Seeds Ltd, Shri  R. l. Gupta – Chairman R. L. Steel, Shri Moreshwar Save – Chairman Savera Group & Ex M P Aurangabad, Shri Satish Lodha – Director Satish Motors, Shri Vinod Surana – C M D Ajanta Infrastructure Ltd, Shri  Sitaramji  Agarwal – M D Sara Builders, Shri Deepak Zhunzhunwala – Director Raghuvir motors, Shri Rajesh Bharuka – Chairman Bharuka construction, Shri Rajan Nadkarni – Senior Architect Nadkarni – Mahajan gr, Shri Nagpalji Ramesh – Chairman Nagpal Group, Shri Naveen Bagadiya – Director Pride Group. The event was attended by over one thousand people.
